Beaune Pedestrian Mall- Beaune has a wonderful pedestrian shopping area lined with food, art galleries, wine tasting, and clothing shops as well. Stroll through the old city and pause for a crêpe or glass of wine or take your kids to the carousel. To find the pedestrian area, just go to the Hotel Dieu and the streets around it are full of shops.
Shops Close During Lunch- Remember that most shops in France close during lunch, between 12-2, but are open later until 7.

Located on the main square, this wine shop for Domaine Jean Monnier et Fils only sells wines from their domaine. However they offer tasting and will guide you to choose a great white or red wine from Burgundy. They also ship internationally.

About 5km away in Beaune, Fabrice Brocante is my go-to local shop to pick up affordable antiques and some furniture. Every Saturday morning during Beaune market day, antique sellers set up temporary shops near the carousel at Place Carnot in the heart of Beaune. But if you're looking for antiques any other day, try Place Fleury. You'll find Maurice Dussort Antiquaire who sells true antique taste-a-vins (tastevin) and other wine related antiques. Across the street is a lovely shop with porcelain and furniture and another with art. Throughout the streets around the heart of Beaune, enjoy a wander as you discover antique book and map sellers, art galleries, and more treasures.
